What is shared here stays here?

Members discuss matters here that are not public. Treat everything shared in discussions, events, and messages as confidential. Take the learning with you. Leave the names, the companies, and the screenshots behind.

Earn points honestly

Points on this portal hold real value, and we treat them accordingly. Refer people you know and respect. Attend what you commit to. Comment when you have something to add. One member, one account. Points earned in bad faith are reversed.

Publish your own thinking

Articles published here appear under your name and travel through IHRC's channels. Submit your own thinking, in your own words. Our editors review every piece before it is published.

No selling

Members are here as peers, not prospects. Do not pitch products or services, add members to mailing lists, or use the directory for anything beyond individual connection. If a member asks about your work, let them lead that conversation.

No recruiting

Do not approach members or their teams for hiring unless they have made it clear they are open to it.

Let recognition be earned

Leaderboards and awards recognise contribution. Vote on merit. Do not canvass or trade votes.

Disagree with respect

Strong opinions are welcome. Discourtesy is not.

WHERE WE STAND

A breach of this code can end a membership, without notice where warranted, and a membership that ends this way forfeits its points balance. We expect to rely on this rarely.
